4 Months Old

I can't believe that 4 months ago today I had Miles. Time is just flying by and each day he is getting bigger, his facial expressions change, he is figuring out how his little mouth works, and he's using his hands a lot! He recognizes me and his dad. And pretty much overall he is such a sweet spirited baby. He brings so much joy to my life. Some of the things that he loves doing are; trying to walk, spitting bubbles, trying to talk to me when i'm talking to him, smiling (he smiles with his eyes), grabbing his feet, taking baths, and trying to walk. Some things he dislikes is tummy time, eating from a bottle, and not being cuddled. I feel so lucky to have Miles in my life! I love him with all my heart! I can't wait to watch him grow up!

3 Months Old

3 Months old! Growing stronger each day and getting a little personality! He has started smiling all the time and starting to goo all the time. People will stop me when I have Miles and ask how old he is... 3 Months.... They are always pretty surprised because he is so big! He seriously looks and feels like a 6 month old. Some of his favorite things to do are taking baths, going on walks, EATING ALL THE TIME, and playing with his little giraffe. Love this babe!

2 Months Old and First Well Check-up

Just look at this little pumpkin! 2 Months old and very very healthy! He is in the 95% for height, 80% for weight and 25% for his head. He is so sweet! We love this little boy so much!

1 Month Old and Blessing Day

This was a big day for our families! June 12 we blessed Miles on the same day that Matt's parents and brother Carter all gave their mission farewell talks. We blessed Miles at their ward and had a big luncheon afterward. It was so special to have both sides of our family there to watch Miles get blessed and even more amazing to be able to say that my husband blessed him. June was really crazy. We said goodbye to Matt's parents for 3 years. They are serving in Eugene, Oregon and Carter (Matt's youngest brother) is serving for 2 years in the Orlando, Florida Mission. Matt's parents and Carter all went into the MTC at the same time. June was also a big month for Matt. He officially became the owner operator of the Park City McDonalds. I'm so proud of my family and all the sacrifices they have made. We have truly been blessed.

Going Home

After four days at the beautiful Park City Hospital we got to take our little Miles home.

Brand New Baby Miles

Miles

This is me 41 weeks pregnant and May 11, 2011 the night I was induced to have Miles

Ready for a long night sleep (or lack there of) induction all night and monitored very closely.

After being in labor for 14 hours and ended up having a C-Section. My mom and sister flew up the canyon once we called them and told them that I was going to have Miles cesarean. Matt was so calm and was amazing all throughout the surgery and delivery. At 12:47 pm we had our beautiful little boy.

So, I've decided to start a blog to keep close friends and family up to date with our lives and the new addition to our family, Miles. Miles is getting so big and will be 4 months old here soon. We love this little bug.
